The last couple of years I have managed to collect quite a few McSweeney books, not because I actively search for them but my friend Babette does. I initially buy the book for her either as a birthday present or Christmas present only to found out that she already has a copy so I end up keeping it. This has happened far too many times and I am sure she thinks I do this on purpose so that I can increase my collection.

A book printed in the authors blood. If you don’t believe me then look at Underware.nl the design collective who published this book. I heard them talking about this book maybe for more than 2 years. I waited in anticipation, as a designer I became more curious about what it would look like then if I would actually like to read the book. Finally when the book was launched it was perfect and as expected the author sat very pale faced signing books with his own brown blood.
