If you collect atlases then please add this to your collection, I am always curious when Joost Grootens, the designer of this book comes out with a new one, and so far I am never disappointed.

I think almost every designer I know falls in love with hand painted signs. They travel abroad and come back with a few shots of their girlfriend or boyfriend on the beach and 1000 shots of local street signs, or basically anything that has not been designed but alludes to it. So when you find a book like this you are doing yourself a favour.
